With boutique hotel projects in high-profile LGBT destinations, Tryst needs skilled field professionals who can travel, adapt, and help deliver comfortable, high-performing spaces that support a premium guest experience.&nbsp;This Traveling Assistant Construction Supervisor role supports site supervisors, project managers, trade partners, vendors, and field teams across Tryst hotel properties and project sites. You will help coordinate materials, schedules, deliveries, inventory, inspections, and jobsite updates while supporting safe, clean, and efficient work environments. The right candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable moving between job sites, and able to support both administrative coordination and practical field needs.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist site supervisors and project managers with daily construction coordination</li><li>Track inventory, materials, tools, supplies, deliveries, and jobsite needs</li><li>Pick up, deliver, stage, and organize materials as needed</li><li>Support project scheduling, workflow planning, and trade coordination</li><li>Help review scopes of work, work orders, proposals, and project details for missing items, conflicts, or follow-up needs</li><li>Coordinate deliveries, material staging, storage, and jobsite organization</li><li>Support trade partners by helping resolve material, delivery, schedule, or labor gap issues</li><li>Schedule, track, and attend required inspections as needed</li><li>Follow up on corrections, punch-list items, and open project tasks</li><li>Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work site</li><li>Track basic project costs, material expenses, and change order details as directed</li><li>Identify potential delays, delivery issues, quality concerns, or site challenges</li><li>Support a professional, respectful, and safety-conscious jobsite environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Construction coordination, assistant supervisor, field support, project coordinator, or similar experience preferred</li><li>Hands-on construction, renovation, restoration, or hotel/property improvement experience is an asset</li><li>Strong organization, scheduling, communication, and follow-up skills</li><li>Ability to manage inventory, materials, deliveries, and multiple moving parts</li><li>Valid driver's license required</li><li>Ability to pick up and transport materials as needed</li><li>Comfortable using digital tools, reporting systems, scheduling tools, and project management software</li><li>Professional demeanor and full comfort working in LGBTQ+ centered spaces</li><li>Adaptable and respectful when working with diverse teams, vendors, guests, and property environments</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a traveling field team</li></ul>Pay and Benefits<ul><li>Pay: $25 to $30/hour, depending on experience.</li><li>Full-time W-2 position.</li><li>Year-round pay structure, including paid travel rotations, company-arranged flights and hotels, and paid meals while traveling.</li><li>Medical and dental.</li><li>401(k).</li><li>Paid time off.</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Why Tryst Hotels</h2>At Tryst, roofing work supports the guest experience in a direct and meaningful way. Traveling Assistant Construction Supervisor

Are you able and willing to travel throughout the U.S. for 2–3 weeks at a time with 1–2 weeks’ notice?

Are you comfortable working in LGBTQ+ hospitality spaces, including gay hotels, bars, and restaurants, in a respectful and professional manner at all times?

Are you comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, overnight starts, weekends, or 10–12+ hour shifts when needed to complete a project?

Can you reliably travel by air for out-of-state assignments?
